AWT Labels & Packaging Joins The Association of Plastic Recyclers

Minneapolis, MN August 3, 2021 – AWT Labels & Packaging, an industry leader in labels and flexible packaging printing and converting solutions with headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has joined the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR). APR is an international trade association representing the plastics recycling industry, and their member companies are committed to the success of plastics recycling. The stated goals of APR are to increase supply of recycled materials; enhance the quality of recycling; expand the demand for recycled materials; and to communicate the value of recycling as it relates to the environment and cost effectiveness.

AWT prints and converts a significant amount of synthetic film materials for pressure-sensitive labels, as well as the printing of roll stock for flexible packaging products.  Additionally, the company offers several recyclable solutions and was recently recognized for an industry award highlighting our commitment to sustainability.  This new relationship will allow AWT to draw upon APR’s specific expertise and experience in the recycling of plastics and help AWT increase their recycled/recyclable offerings.
