Digital

For those seeking exceptional print quality and vivid colors, and improved value for smaller custom orders we employ cutting-edge digital printing techniques. This advanced method allows us to reproduce intricate details and gradients with unparalleled precision. Whether it’s a complex logo or a visually captivating design, our digital printing technology ensures stunning results that enhance the visual appeal of labels.

Flexographic

To support customers who prioritize efficiency and cost-effectiveness for larger volume orders without compromising on quality, we utilize flexographic printing. This versatile technique enables AWT to rapidly produce large quantities of labels, making it an ideal choice for high-volume production needs. We work with various label materials, ensuring flexibility to accommodate different application needs.

Screen printing

For customers desiring increased durability or a unique tactile experience, we offer screen printing. This technique involves moving ink through a mesh screen onto the durable substrate, resulting in visually captivating labels and decals with rich texture. Screen printing is particularly suitable for designs that require bold, solid colors and an engaging sensory touch.

Hybrid

Hybrid printing combines two or more printing techniques – commonly flexographic plus digital or flexographic plus thermal – to achieve a unique customer requirement in a cost-effective manner. It offers the best of both worlds by combining the strengths of different printing technologies to meet specific printing requirements. AWT’s hybrid printing is a valuable option for numerous industries, particularly in packaging and label production, enabling us to rapidly produce large quantities of labels.

Dynamic hybrid

Dynamic hybrid utilizes AWT’s expertise in printer hardware, systems, software, and materials to enable customers to print eye-catching color labels and variable information on demand in a single-pass process. Customers leverage the AWT team to design their printer-material solution, set up the process, and provide equipment service for hassle free on-demand labelling.  Dynamic hybrid offers benefits of low label inventory, on-demand printing, stress-free compliance and versioning without sacrificing your brand identity.

Direct Thermal and Thermal Transfer

AWT employs two types of thermal printing, a technique that is an cost-effective and can help you produce barcodes, QR codes, coupons, GHS-compliant labels and event tickets, to name a few! Direct thermal printing uses heat-sensitive paper or label stock to create images without the need for ink or ribbons (commonly used in point-of-sale systems, shipping, healthcare, and inventory management). Thermal transfer printing uses heat to transfer ink from a ribbon onto various materials, including paper, labels, and packaging. Ribbons are available with high durability resin formulations for applications that require long-lasting and high-quality prints.

Variable data and image

Variable data and image printing can be used to individualize labels in a single run based on one or more data elements. AWT can print large quantities of labels while changing unique elements of the data or image on each individual level. That means printing content changes without stopping the printing process. Varied text, graphics––such as barcodes, QR codes and sequential numbering, images––are typical content elements that can be adjusted.
