MINNEAPOLIS, MN – MAY 19, 2022 – AWT Labels & Packaging is excited to announce that Shawn Oetjen has been named to the Flexographic Technical Association’s (FTA) Board of Directors and Board of Trustees. Oetjen has been in the flexographic industry for over 20 years, with 7 of those years spent at AWT. He currently serves as Manufacturing Manager for the company.
“The FTA played a significant role triggering my intrigue with the flexographic industry, more than 20 years ago,” said Oetjen. “I look forward to working with the Boards and giving back to this great organization by contributing to the growth and success of the flexographic community, with a focus on the technical aspects of the process.”
Oetjen has been very active in the flexographic print industry and has devoted significant time to mentoring others and being an ambassador for flexography. His knowledge and experience will benefit the FTA as he serves on these boards.
