“HeArt of the Dragon”: Rebellium Wines Community Collaboration Project

The Organizations

AWT Labels & Packaging, Napa, is incredibly proud to have played a part in a remarkable collaboration that brought together local talent and community spirit. We had the honor of producing 100 custom labels for Rebellium Wines, each featuring the stunning artwork created by the talented teens from the Boys & Girls Club of Napa Valley’s Club 1515 Teen Center.

The Challenge

This project, spearheaded by Blake Barrios, a talented artist and proprietor of Rebellium Wines, was not just about creating beautiful labels. It was about empowering local youth and supporting community initiatives. Blake’s vision to mentor these teens and guide them through creating a mural, which was then used as the wine label design, was truly inspiring.

The Solution

Using our Prototyper, we were able to faithfully reproduce the intricate and vibrant “HeArt of the Dragon” painting on each wine label. The teens poured their creativity and dedication into this artwork, and it was essential for us to capture every detail with precision and quality. The final product was more than just a label; it was a piece of art and a symbol of community effort and youth empowerment.

The Results

The teens’ artwork gained national recognition, securing 1st place in the collaborative projects category of teen visual arts at the National Fine Arts Competition at Boys & Girls Clubs of America Headquarters in Atlanta, GA. Seeing their creation on the wine labels and knowing it would support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley made our work even more meaningful. To date, Boys and Girls Club of Napa Valley have raised over $10,000 towards their goal, thanks to the auctioning of the limited release of Rebellium Wines featuring the teens’ artwork. The funds raised will go towards supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley, enriching local programs, and expanding opportunities for the youth in our community.

At AWT Labels & Packaging, we believe in the potential of every project to make a difference. This collaboration with Rebellium Wines and the Boys & Girls Club of Napa Valley is a testament to that belief. We are grateful to have been a part of this journey and look forward to supporting more initiatives that combine creativity, community, and purpose.
